Activity Resources

The activity resources pages are meant to provide educators and parents assistance in improving their abilities to educate their children about reptiles and amphibians; their ecology and importance.

We at GRARE hope to accomplish this by providing the following services to everyone:

Coloring Pages:  a collection of coloring pages featuring reptiles and amphibians. These sets will contain all of the native Georgia species as well as exotic; and will range in style from Pre-K to advanced.

Classroom Activity Pages:  Here you will find word games, puzzles, crafts, and more to help you bring reptile and amphibian topics into your classroom or home.

Classroom Outlines:  Detailed outlines for use in the classroom giving important terms and definitions, covering topics such as ecology, characteristics, and adaptations.

On-Line Library: a search driven on line library containing articles and abstracts of herpetological information ranging from general care through veterinary level medical. Information will be included about basic wildlife rehabilitation issues, but we will not cover species specific information outside of herpetofauna. -*data base is being constructed as of 2/11/07

Animal Laws and Regulations: a posting of local, State, Federal, and International regulations regarding the keeping of wildlife and exotic animals as pets, as well as rehabilitation of these animals.

We hope that these services will prove valuable to you in your efforts. If you have any comments or suggestions regarding these matters, please contact us through our message board or e-mail us at info@grare.org
