Creepy Critters Preschool programs are designed with the younger audience in mind. Our 30-minute programs bring live animal guests into your classroom (generally 8 to 12 live animals), and can also combine storytelling, puppetry, and arts and crafts programs. Make the world of animals come alive for your students!
The Creepy Critters programs broaden your children's experience by bringing live reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods to your classrooms. Our goal is to let them experience first hand a fascinating portion of the world around them. We bring the animals to your school, thus eliminating the hassles of scheduling field trips and reducing your costs.
Creepy Critters, the educational branch of the Georgia Reptile and Amphibian Rescue Effort, provides programs specifically designed to exceed Georgia State Quality Core Curriculum requirements for science. Creepy Critters programs are tailored for each grade level, and cover topics from general to species specific. You can use our existing programs or work with our staff to develop a program tailored to your needs. If you have any questions or specific animal requests, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Initial cost is $135.00 for a 30 minute program. A second 30 minute program will cost an additional $55 (this brings the cost equal to one - 1 hour program, provided that the programs are back to back. If there is a delay between programs times, additional costs may apply.) Additional programs may be added for the same location on the same day if desired for an additional $110.00 per program.
Initial cost is $190.00 for a 1 hour program. Additional programs may be added for the same location on the same day if desired for an additional $110.00 per program.
There will be a mileage fee for programs beyond 40 miles from our facility. This fee is currently $0.50 per mile, with a maximum mileage charge of $100.00.
Any programs with a starting time between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm weeknights and more than 15 miles from our facility may be charged an additional $25.00 due to the extra time necessary to travel anywhere in Atlanta during rush hour traffic. (for example, to arrive on time for a 5:00 pm party in Marietta, we must leave by 3:30 and will likely not arrive back at the facility before 7:30 pm)
