While our preschoolers were very excited to hear that "the Reptile Man" was visiting our school, their excitement grew when "Creepy Critters" arrived and began showing them one cool creature after another. Awe-filled silence met snakes, lizards, turtles, and frogs followed rapidly by frenzied questions and comments. Rick handled the children and "Critters" patiently and professionally. Teachers and students alike commented afterward on how much they enjoyed the program. We cannot wait to invite them back to the Oak Grove Young Children's School in Decatur, Ga.

I, Corinne Odermatt, booked Creepy Critters for a one hour program for an end of school year party at Holy Innocent's Episcopal School in Sandy Springs. Rick and his assistant addressed 82 - 7 and 8 year olds and held their attention with a very interesting and educational program. The feedback I got from the kids and the teachers was very positive. I will certainly book Creepy Critters again!

The staff was professional in the booking of the party. They were courteous and mindful of the number of party attendees and ages. They arrived exactly on time. We communicated several times prior to the party including 2 hours prior. They set up in our basement without disturbing or stirring up the children. The presentation was very age appropriate, informative, and fun. The children had a lot of questions and were consumed with the material at hand. The goodie bags were better than the ones I prepared myself. I would never have purchased bags if I had known how well they would be. I passed out GRARE business cards to several parents when they picked up their children. Thanks!

When my child saw the add for your birthday party presentation I was hesitant to call for several reasons. The first was not knowing if it would be age appropriate, the second was that I couldn't imagine how impressive the show would be for such a small fee, and last of all my party was in three days. I was amazed that your presentation held the attention of a five year old up to a 59 year old. Everyone was interested, impressed, and commented on how much they enjoyed it. The show was so good I felt that the fee was not enough and made an additional contribution. I called you two days ahead and you were at my party on time and did not require any set up or clean up on my part. Your exhibit was enjoyable and more importantly educational. Thank you.

Creepy Critters made my sons 6th birthday party his best birthday ever. It is a month since his party and everyday he has begged for the reptiles to be at his 7th birthday. Richard provided a fun and educational program that kept 13 - 5 and 6 year olds intrigued for a solid hour. Wow, I didn't know children could even sit still for that long! I did a lot of research on the internet and magazines. Creepy Critters were the least expensive, but yet included more in their program (even NICE goodie bags). Three moms who attended the party have already booked Creepy Critters for their scout troops.

The Creepy Critters party was such a wonderful experience for my son's birthday party. Everyone from kids to parents was amazed by the animals and the whole presentation. I would definitely have GRARE come back for another party and recommend it to anyone else! The cost was reasonable and I liked the fact that the money is going to support animals in need. Overall, this was a fascinating experience and I received so much positive feedback from everyone who came.

We are quite pleased to say that the only "negative" comments we have received on the surveys returned to us have been the following:
We have changed the presentation of turtles and tortoises in younger groups to show the baby and the adult pond turtles at the same time, thus keeping the variety of animals, but shortening the overall time involved.
It was decided not to include any candy or other food items in the goodie bags for several reasons. We would not want to inadvertently give a child something they were allergic to and parents seem split about 50/50 on whether or not to give candy in goodie bags. We have altered the wording in our promotional materials to let parents know that they are welcome to supplement our bags, either by adding items to our bags or giving out bags they themselves make. If the parents so wish, they can forgo our goodie bags altogether, and we will not be the least bit offended. We want the party to be fun for everyone!
