To help support the goals of the Georgia Reptile and Amphibian Rescue Effort!
If you haven't already, please read our Philosophy Statement for a detailed description of the many ways in which GRARE hopes to make life better for reptiles and amphibians both in captivity and in the wild.
We are a non-profit organization, and our efforts rely heavily on donations from people like you to allow us to continue to offer low cost educational programming to schools throughout the state of Georgia and beyond, to provide rehabilitation for injured wildlife and exotic animals, maintain this site, and provide educational services to rehabilitators and veterinarians for improved health care.
Even if you hate reptiles, you'll like this! We relocate them for you! We will be offering relocation services for certain areas within the state of Georgia for "problem" reptiles, such as the classic "There's a snake under my car/porch/picnic table/bed/foot/......"
At this time your membership does not entitle you to special privileges because of tax reasons. In order for your membership to count as a charity contribution, you may not receive anything of direct value in return. (such as park admissions, key-chains, t-shirts, etc...) Due to the nature of our organizations educational initiatives, almost all of our services are free and available to everyone anyway!
Membership dues are $25 annually and will be tax deductible as soon as we get our tax exempt status approved.. Funds raised through membership will be used to maintain our live animal collection and to support our rehabilitation efforts.
To become a member, e-mail us at membership@grare.org. We will send you a questionnaire and more information on things to come.
At this time we are still limited by our size and available space. We hope to rapidly grow into a public facility housing hundreds of animals and an extensive library of herpetocultural information.
GRARE reserves the right to deny membership to any individual or entity based solely on our discretion.
