Volunteer Recruitment

If you are not currently a volunteer but would like to be, please drop us an e-mail at Let us know what your skills and areas of interest are, and how to contact you. We will get back in touch as soon as possible. We do ask that all volunteers become members of the GRARE.

Because we do not yet have a public facility, our volunteer opportunities are limited at this time. We hope to be hiring staff which will allow us to expand the available volunteer hours.

We currently need people to assist with the following areas:

1. Library Article Abstracts - photocopying, typing, locating.
2. Web Feature Design - Rehabilitators forum (posting system), sound and image compiling.
3. Animal Care Sheet Research - we provide a template, you find the info from multiple sources, and then we compile, create and post on the web.
4. Fund Raising and Grant Writing - fairly self explanatory, we need money to build our facility and upkeep the animals
5. Animal Training and Conditioning
6. Animal Cleaning - also fairly self explanatory.
7. Activities Resources - possible program outlines, coloring sheets, art projects coupled with educational messages, etc...
